Matthew Wood

A true local, Matt has called this area home since his family moved to the area in the early ’80s from North London, attending local schools in his early days, playing rugby for various local teams, exploring what the whole area has to offer and becoming an active member of the community. Professionally, with over two decades in the estate agency world, he’s seen it all from first-time buyers’ nervous excitement to the art of sealing the deal on dream properties from cosy cottage, through to extensive country homes with many acres of land.

Matt’s journey in property began working in both sales & lettings departments, carrying out valuations, negotiations, lettings property management, inventories, and tenancy check-outs. As his career progressed into sales management, the past eleven years has been well spent leading successful teams, coaching, and mentoring, helping others find their own success in the industry. One of his proudest achievements was launching a cold-start office, proof of his entrepreneurial drive and ability to thrive under pressure.

Outside of work, Matt loves spending time with his wife and two daughters and long countryside walks with his beloved cockerpoo Leia.  Matt is also a keen runner (having recently conquered the MK Half Marathon) and is a golf enthusiast.

Leon is the latest member to join our Eaton Bray office, bringing his enthusiastic character and eye for detail to the team. Joining Castles in 2025, he is a highly driven individual who is keen to develop his career and make his clients’ experience as seamless and enjoyable as possible.

Outside of work, Leon’s spare time is usually spent kayaking, his weekends often consisting of trips all around the country to various races and competitions. His experience both training and coaching has provided him with many unique opportunities, all of which have developed his skills to take on every challenge and opportunity lying ahead.

Abigail became part of Castles in February 2025 as a committed Property Manager, bringing 3 years of experience in the rental industry. With a passion for providing exceptional customer service, she collaborates closely with prospective tenants, current residents, and landlords to guarantee a smooth and efficient experience. Abby’s thorough knowledge of local and national regulations ensures all properties comply with legal requirements.

In her free time, Abby enjoys history and travel, often spending her weekends exploring new cities and immersing herself in different cultures.

Lucy Wilks

Lucy started with Castles in January 2024, she is looking forward to the challenge with in this busy office.  Having worked in an administration role for 6 years prior to joining Castles, she brings a wealth of experience and hopes to be a valued member of the team.

Lucy has two young children who keep her very active as both are involved in sports and are always at a club or session in the evenings. She regularly attends the local Park Run on Saturday mornings and enjoys long bike rides with her family. Lucy is a qualified Swimming teacher and teaches locally on Monday and Tuesday evenings. Currently, Lucy is training to teach higher needs and vulnerable child / adult 1-2-1 lessons.

Lucy’s partner is a budding screenwriter and actor and they spend a lot of their free time, location scouting, shooting, and editing short action movies in the local area.

Iain has dedicated more than seven years to the estate agency industry, where he has held pivotal roles that include Sales Progression Manager and Branch Director. Throughout his tenure, Iain has demonstrated exceptional skills in managing the sales process, ensuring smooth transactions from initial offer to completion.

In his role within the Sales Progression Team, Iain is responsible for overseeing the entire sales pipeline, liaising with clients, solicitors, and surveyors to expedite the process and resolve any issues that arose. Aaron joined the Castles team in 2016, previously working in the Chilterns for another estate agency.

Aaron’s flair for filming video tours and photography, bringing clients’ homes to life, has led to him taking on the exciting role of Head of Property Marketing in 2022.

Cami joined the Castles team in July 2023.

Camelia excels as a real estate photographer, blending her keen eye for detail with advanced photo editing skills to create captivating content for social media platforms.

Camelia Tomuta is a multifaceted creative with a rich background in design and visual arts. As a skilled footwear designer and developer, Camelia has made her mark by showcasing her innovative 3D printed platform shoes at Paris Fashion Week and crafting unique designs for renowned fashion brands. Her expertise extends into interior design, where she successfully transformed the interiors of two private properties.

Krishan Khatri

Krishan Khatri is a very experienced Mortgage Broker having worked within the finance industry since 2013.

Krishan arranged more than £75m of mortgages for clients in 2022 and is devoted to assisting his clients find the best mortgage and insurance products in the market.

Away from work Krishan and his wife are parents to 2 boys and can often be found playing football or exploring Whipsnade Zoo.
